For my last project i am wanting use a combination of techniques that i’ve learned on a photo. My goal is to create a bright, summer picture. I’m going to be using photoshop for this project and i will probably print my image as an 8 by 10. The photo i’ve selected is a picture of the maui beach with a flower laying in the sand. I’m very excited to see where i go with exploring different techniques with this photo.

This is what i have created so far with this image. I didn’t get as much done with it as i wanted because i was absent and i missed a lot of class time to work on it. With the time i had i was able to accomplish a few this with this image. I used the blur tool for the majority of the picture. Then, I also used the eclipse tool to make the center of the image focused. This made the section where the vehicles are not blurry. That’s all i really remember doing with this image since it was about two weeks ago when i was working on it.

My role in this advertising campaign varied day to day. I was involved with making the videos to go on the announcements. I helped make the videos of Nolan in the hallway doing different things to spread the word about the arts. I also helped make the Jewelry and Metals video with Brie. We edited the slide show and made it our own video with music, a title page, transitions, and cool music. I was also involved with making the posters to go up in the hallways. I helped spray paint some of them and take them from one room to the other. I feel like the work i did will contribute to a successful advertising campaign. I don’t think i would do anything differently if we started this project again, i thought it was very successful. Out of all the programs I was exposed to i would say iMovie was most interesting. I thought it was cool how we could change pretty much anything in the video to make it our own. Overall, the Save the Arts campaign was fun to be involved with and i think it had a positive effect on people.
